Sunsetting Jody formed in Dallas, TX in 2022 with a mission to push the boundaries, to bring back a old school alternative metal sound but not to fit in any single genre or sub genre box.

 Built on both the sounds of early 2000s alt-metal and modern progressive metal, the band has quickly carved out a reputation for intense, high-energy live shows. Their music is raw, powerful, and real, positioning them as a rising must-watch act in the DFW music scene.
